It is unclear when the Radanites first appeared. They were from Roman France and Spain. They monopolized the trade in slavic slaves. They even had a “factory” set up to castrate their “human capital” and manufacture Eunuchs.
Their trade and finance network spread all the way to China. They even converted a turkish tribe called the Khazars to Radanite Judaism in the 800’s, thus giving them a monopoly on the Northern Silk road route. The route that would be taken over by the Genoese after the Mongolian invasion in the 1200’s.
I always though the Genoese invented capitalism based upon letters of credit, but it was Jewish slave traders who invented capitalism. Who knew?
